Initially, I started psychotherapy for my panic attacks. Later, it emerged that I also had a compulsion. It didn’t take long to overcome my panic attacks, but my compulsion was running – and ruining – my life, and it took a long time and a lot of energy before I could break free. But now I am free of it! Therapy is not daunting; I actually enjoy it. As part of my personal development and understanding, I have chosen to continue therapy for now. I am a new person.
